What's the group size? Won't it be spammy?

We hard-cap every group at 250 people and someone is always watching the chat. Post a promo link, a crypto pitch, or anything off-topic and you're out - no second warning. Small enough to stay useful, moderated enough to stay clean.

I'm only in Bangkok for 5 days. Worth joining?

Nobody slips in unnoticed - every new member sends a short intro first, naming themselves, their home country, a photo, and the group they're hoping to join. Anyone reported for harassment or running a scam is out immediately. This is a circle of travellers and residents looking out for each other, not a directory of businesses.

Who runs this?

A handful of long-term Bangkok residents and frequent travellers run Bangkok People Club, built on the belief that nobody should have to figure this city out solo. What started as a single WhatsApp thread back in 2021 has grown into ten groups we moderate ourselves - still just people doing this because they care, not a company.
